Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, RDN, LD
Rachael Kent Frias is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist from Maui, Hawai’i. Her fascination with nutrition began once she understood the crucial link between one’s dietary patterns and maintaining both bodily and mental health. During her undergraduate education, her part in research looking at the effects of food preservatives on the mouth microbiome sparked a deep interest in the nutritional effects on the microbiome, particularly as it relates to the gut and overall well-being. Her goal as a dietitian is to help others prevent, treat, and manage health ailments through nutrition, lifestyle, and gut balance. She believes in a plant-forward approach to nutrition and aims to assist her patients in finding their healthful way.
Rachael works as an outpatient dietitian at Married to Health and as a clinical dietitian at Maui Memorial Medical Center and is currently continuing her education to become a Certified Gastrointestinal Nutritionist.
